CPB has been a revenue generating, self-sufficient unit during the last two years.
Govt. of India Funded projects under Bamboo mission and Bio-diesel mission have been on time in meeting objectives.
Several economically important genotypes have been identified, collected and multiplied through tissue culture techniques. A total of about four lac saplings of Sugarcane, Safed Musli, Eucalyptus etc. produced through tissue culture have been supplied to the farmers. The centre is also capable to provide tissue culture raised high quality planting material of Aloevera and Chrysanthemum as and when required.
